Meet our Smile Design Specialist – Dr. Roise Kelly
Dr. Roise Kelly, Prosthodontist
Dr. Roise Kelly received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004 from the Queen’s University of Belfast, N. Ireland.
After spending four years working in general practice, she returned to education and completed a three-year postgraduate program in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry, USA.
Dr. Roise then completed an additional one-year teaching fellowship at the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, NYU. Dr. Roise specialises in aesthetic restorations and teeth replacement creating beautiful smiles for her patients. She is highly trained in crowns, veneers, bridges, dental implants and dentures and we are delighted to have her as part of the Dental House Team.
What is Smile Design?
Smile Design is the process of building a bespoke smile specifically for you.
Your smile makeover journey will start with a full dental health exam which may include a tooth mobility and gum health check and an entire mouth health screening. We will follow that with panoramic X-rays. This ensures that we are starting with a healthy foundation to design the best smile possible!
The next steps include Composite Bonding or Porcelain Veneers and Teeth Whitening Treatments. Smile Design is a completely customised experience that achieves amazing results!

Smile Design can include Composite Bonding
Composite Bonding is the process of applying a tooth coloured filling to the front of your tooth.
Using white fillings we can hand sculpt the veneer to the best shape possible. Then we will apply composite edge bonding to the edges which will repair any breaks or chips in the existing teeth to make them completely symmetrical.
Smile Design may include Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are made up of a wafer-thin layer of porcelain which is bonded to the front of your natural teeth.
We colour match the veneers to the rest of your teeth, so they don’t look out of place. Typically, they are used for the front facing teeth, but they can be used for other teeth as well.
Smile Design nearly always includes Teeth Whitening
Our smile design specialists will help you with the final whitening process that will perfect your smile. We will make a custom made whitening kit specifically for you with custom made moulds to take home.
Only registered dental professionals are legally allowed to administer the correct amount of active whitening chemicals that will achieve the desired result. Over the counter products will not gain the same level of whitening.
